All content, images, documents and software delivered, distributed or circulated via the www.rutholiver.com.au website remains the copyright of Ruth Oliver. You agree that the content you access, view or download and the software used to create it, remains the property of Ruth Oliver as defined by Australian and International Intellectual Property Laws, including but not limited to Copyright and Trademark laws. You agree not to modify or alter the content in any way, or make it available to any third parties.

Delivery Policy

CD’s

CD’s will be dispatched within seven working days of receipt of an order and after payment is made in full.

Customs & Duties

For any orders shipped outside of Australia the customer is the importer of record and will be responsible for all customs import duties and sales tax charges. These charges vary in each country and are outside of Ruth Oliver’s control. Contact your local customs office for more information on what import duties or sales taxes may be imposed.

Delivery Estimates

Ruth Oliver makes every effort practical to ensure that delivery timeframes given are accurate. However the delivery times stated for products on this site assume that the stock availability information provided by our suppliers is accurate and that delivery times are not adversely affected by unforseen events.

By placing an order, you agree not to hold Ruth Oliver liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.

Cancellation Policy

INTERNATIONAL RETREATS

If cancellation is received from you in writing more than 120 days before departure then any monies paid will be refunded to you in full (less any resources already provided such the UHM online personality questionnaire). Any cancellation made between 91-119 days will result in the loss of your AUD$491 deposit. Any cancellation between 90 days and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so your monies will be refunded in full). Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended if there is any possibility that you might have to cancel your trip. All cancellations must be made to ruth@rutholiver.com.au in writing and any refund requests must be made in writing to ruth@rutholiver.com.au within 30 days of the return date. Ruth Oliver reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, etc.), which may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments as described in the paragraph below shall release Ruth Oliver from any further liability. A trip cancellation due to insufficient numbers would normally occur at least two months prior to departure, unless acts of God, war, strikes or other events impede our departure causing large numbers of participants opt to cancel participation on the journey in the last days before departure.

Ruth Oliver must make substantial payments to suppliers (including providers of land travel) far in advance of the scheduled date on which we embark. If a trip is cancelled due to forces beyond our control (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), Ruth Oliver will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers. MarkTwo Consulting will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible, and will refund to you the amount recovered, if any. However, MarkTwo Consulting does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign lands. This policy applies to a trip cancellation by the choice of the client following any necessary increase in trip costs.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given at the discretion of company management where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

ADVANCE PAYMENTS

Ruth Oliver may make substantial payments to suppliers in advance of programs. If a program is cancelled due to forces beyond its control (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), then it will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not advanced to suppliers. Ruth Oliver will use its best efforts to recover advance payments as promptly as possible, and will refund to the relevant client the amount recovered, if any (as per the ‘Cancellation Policy’ above).  However, Ruth Oliver does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and will use its best efforts to recover these payments but this will not include the institution of any legal proceeding in foreign lands.  This policy also applies to a program cancellation by the choice of the client following any necessary increase in program costs.

CD’s

Addressing

If a product is found to be mis-addressed by Ruth Oliver then Ruth Oliver shall be responsible for the re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Ruth Oliver will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer.

Incorrect Bank Account Number

Ruth Oliver gives the customer the choice to pay for products through bank transfer. If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, and the correct number was provided to the Customer by Ruth Oliver, then Ruth Oliver will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched.

Mailing Cash

Ruth Oliver does not recommend that cash be mailed for payment of products. If the Customer does mail cash, Ruth Oliver accepts no responsibility for the theft, loss or otherwise non-delivery of mailed cash.

Cancelling Orders

Ruth Oliver reserves the right to cancel orders that we believe to be fraudulent or constitute a mis-use or a promotional or marketing activity or where an error has occurred including but not limited to errors relating to pricing.

Registration

A minimum 30% deposit (non-refundable) is required with your registration. Full payment is required prior to the start of the program.
